Position Overview We’re looking for a hands-on Additive Manufacturing Engineer to join our fast-paced production team. You’ll play a key role in managing client projects, optimizing print processes, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Interpret customer CAD files and prepare them for additive manufacturing. Select appropriate materials and technologies (SLS, SLA, FDM, MJF, etc.) based on project requirements. Operate and maintain industrial 3D printers and post-processing equipment. Troubleshoot print issues and optimize build parameters for quality and throughput. Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to provide technical input and project feasibility assessments. Ensure timely delivery of parts while maintaining strict quality standards. Document workflows and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or related field. 2 years of experience in additive manufacturing, preferably in a service or production environment. Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360). Familiarity with slicing software and build preparation tools (e.g., Magics). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Preferred Skills Experience with plastic AM technologies and post-processing.
