• Driver Positions Pay Weekly\n \n
• Hours Per Week: 45 + hours per week\n \n
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.53 per Mile with 1900 miles per week avg\n \n
• Solo Stops Pay: $23.75 per Stop with 12 stops per week avg\n \n
• Per Diem Pay: $28.00 per night with 1 - 3 nights per Week\n \n
• Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel or Sleeper\n \n
• Paid Training\n \n
• Schedule: Monday – Friday OR Tuesday - Saturday\n \n
• Start time: Noon - 5:00 AM\n \n\n \n\n

• Deliver SOLO To: Southeast from VA to FL and East of MS\n \n
• Route: Regional\n \n
• Tractor Type: Day Cabs and Sleepers\n \n
• Trailer Type: Dry Van, 53’\n \n
• Equipment: Manual Pallet Jack and Lift Gate\n \n
• Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful\n \n
• Freight: Touch – Hardware Materials\n \n
• Endorsements: Hazmat - Within 90 Days of Hire\n \n
• We Reimburse Cost and Provide Training Support for Endorsement\n \n\n \n\n

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide.\n \n\n \n

Requirements \n \n\n \n\n

• Minimum 21 years of age\n \n
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test\n \n
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years\n \n
• Pass a DOT physical\n \n
• Pass a Ryder road test\n \n
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position\n \n
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:\n \n\n \n
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR \n \n
• 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR \n \n
• 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years\n \n\n \n
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions\n \n
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures\n \n\n \n\n

Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.\n \n\n \n

Responsibilities \n \n\n \n\n

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines\n \n
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs\n \n
• Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer\n \n
• Performs other duties as assigned\n \n\n \n\n
