The Tax Consultant role at Intuit offers an exciting opportunity to provide expert tax preparation and advisory services to clients both in-person and virtually using TurboTax products. As a Tax Consultant, you will work from a TurboTax location, assisting customers with their tax needs and delivering comprehensive tax solutions. Your expertise will be vital in guiding clients through various tax scenarios, from simple filings to complex situations involving business income and investments. Your ability to understand each customer's unique circumstances and connect with them personally will enhance their experience and alleviate tax-related stress.

In addition to tax preparation, you will help expand TurboTax's client base in your community. This involves engaging with potential clients, nurturing leads, organizing local events, and driving customer loyalty through educational outreach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide Tax Expertise: Deliver tailored tax advice and preparation services, addressing a range of tax situations. Utilize resources to provide accurate tax solutions in easily understandable terms.
• Be a Community Ambassador: Cultivate a strong customer base by actively engaging with new prospects and converting them into long-term clients.
• Educate the Community: Confidently represent TurboTax by hosting learning events and participating in local marketing to make taxes accessible and approachable.
• Build Relationships: Establish trust with clients by demonstrating empathy and understanding their financial concerns.
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience: Strive to exceed client expectations and guide them in achieving their financial goals.

Who You Are:

• Possess active credentials as an EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with extensive tax preparation experience.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience filing numerous federal and state individual 1040 tax returns.
• Willing to work at least 24 hours per week at a TurboTax location.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
