Your Role:

As a Tax Consultant at H&R Block, you will receive extensive training and support from a dedicated team to ensure your success. Enjoy the flexibility and freedom to tailor your work-life balance while also having the potential for additional earnings.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients in person and through virtual tools like video, phone, chat, and email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Drive business growth, improve client retention, and recommend additional products and services.
• Provide IRS support to clients.
• Collaborate with team members to support office goals.
• Enhance your tax expertise continuously.

What You Bring:

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or the Income Tax Course.
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
• Comfortable using virtual communication tools (video, phone, chat).
• Strong communication skills in person, via phone, and in writing.
• Compliance with all IRS and applicable state requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• Previous experience in customer service or retail settings.
• Ability to work 25-35 hours weekly throughout tax season with up to 40 hours during peak weeks.
