About the position

As an SAP Application Consultant, you will be part of a growing team focused on delivering high-impact SAP solutions within logistics, production, procurement, or finance. This dynamic role blends technical expertise, strategic thinking, and customer engagement. You’ll contribute to transformation projects that optimize business processes, while also shaping your own development path, whether that’s deepening your expertise or exploring different business segments. To succeed in this role, you should be self-driven and thrive in collaborative environments. You’ll be expected to bring both analytical rigor and creative problem-solving to the table. This role is based out of Raleigh, NC, and reports directly to the Sales & Operations Manager.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with customers across different industries to understand their needs and deliver SAP solutions tailored to their business goals
  • Play a key role in implementation and transformation projects, from requirements gathering to go-live and support
  • Translate complex business requirements into functional SAP configurations
  • Collaborate across functional areas (logistics, production, procurement, finance) to ensure seamless data and process integration
  • Support users through training, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participate in blueprinting sessions and contribute to defining project scope, objectives, and system design
  • Provide post-implementation support, monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Stay up to date with SAP technologies (S/4HANA, Fiori, Cloud solutions) and proactively suggest innovations that drive customer value
  • Contribute to Implema’s collaborative culture by sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and supporting internal best practice development

What We Expect from You

Your Work Experience, Education & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Min 5 years of experience as an SAP Engineer, Consultant, or in a related role within one or more of the following areas: EWM, PP, MM, SD, Fi/CO, QM, PS
  • Solid understanding of how SAP solutions support key business processes
  • Experience in S/4HANA configuration
  • An interest in coaching others and a drive to grow, both personally and together with colleagues and customers
  • Strong project management skills and a track record of successful project delivery
  • Experience with SAP Cloud ERP is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A solution-oriented and self-driven team player
