Safety & Security Manager - 263116-4596 Adams and Associates, Inc. We are looking for an experienced Safety & Security Manager to lead the safety and security operations at the Phoenix Job Corps Center. Responsibilities Supervise and manage the Safety & Security Department, ensuring a safe and secure environment for students and staff. Conduct investigations of accidents and incidents, resolve student and staff issues, and reduce future occurrences. Coordinate and execute the Center’s safety program, including security, visitor control, and student accountability. Interview, recommend hires, oversee staff performance, and fill vacancies promptly. Develop and submit annual safety plans to the Department of Labor and comply with DOL/Company reporting requirements. Conduct center investigations and compile reports (e.g., Significant Incident, TORT Claims). Coordinate safety committees, OSHA compliance, and student/staff safety awards. Analyze safety/security data, take corrective actions, and conduct regular safety inspections and assessments. Ensure compliance with PRH, Job Corps, and company safety directives. Manage visitor control, student accountability, and environmental health program. Document, track, and follow up on Significant Incident Reports. Provide training for new and current employees. Promote a positive image of the Center, establish community linkages, and maintain relationships with elected officials. Mentor and model Career Success Standards, provide high‑quality supervision, and positively influence student behavior. Continuously improve programs and services for students. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Qualifications Experience leading a Safety & Security Department. Strong investigative, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Knowledge of OSHA, PRH, and Job Corps safety directives. Excellent leadership and staff development abilities. Strong communication skills.
