A leading automotive manufacturing facility committed to delivering high-quality products and maintaining a safe, efficient, and team-focused workplace. We are seeking a hands-on, proactive 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our production team and support our growing operations.

The 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing production activities, maintaining safety standards, ensuring quality compliance, and guiding a team of hourly associates in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff during the 2nd shift.

- Complete shift reports, production logs, and communicate effectively with other shifts.

- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.

- Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing levels as necessary to meet production targets.

- Conduct regular inspections of production processes to ensure quality standards are met.

- Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance skills and performance.

- Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and improve efficiency.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and waste reduction.

- Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
• Proficient with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, ERP systems preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate or technical degree preferred.
• Flexibility to work 2nd shift hours.
