PURPOSE OF POSITION A Catering Delivery Driver at Catholic Charities:
- Ensures that the catering processes for each facility are followed and re-enforced.
- Loads catered food on the truck and delivers food to designated area safely, timely and within all food service safety guidelines.
- Unloads food at designated sites, and ensures all products are stored properly at the sites.
- Maintains the required logs and paperwork accurately and timely at the facility where food is served.
- Helps direct volunteers during meal services.
- Reports to Catering Supervisor for additional daily tasks.
- Supports, promotes and adheres to Catholic Charities' vision, mission, values and Code of Ethics.
- Reflects Catholic Charities' commitment to treating all persons with dignity and respect.
- Maintains confidentiality of client and agency information.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS - Ability to communicate and interact positively with others
- Ability to complete basic data entry into computer systems
- Ability to effectively lead and motivate staff through application of Agency values
- Knowledge of the service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and the appropriate techniques and practices for the client population.
- Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Agency staff and with a diverse client base.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Attended some college working towards an Associate or Bachelor's degree (BA/BS); and 3 to 6 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Salary: $22.00 per/hour. Full Time.
