Accentuate Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Property Accountant to join our team. If you enjoy working with numbers, keeping things organized, and supporting a busy property management team, this could be a great fit. We use QuickBooks and Yardi or AppFolio, so experience with those systems is important. Responsibilities: Post journal entries and record accounts payable and receivable Follow company processes and internal controls to keep everything accurate Keep supporting documentation organized for journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations Help with month-end and year-end closing tasks Assist with recurring reconciliations (like credit card statements) Prepare schedules and reports for outside accountants, investors, and other partners Create ad-hoc reports for our asset managers, controller, or CFO Jump in on special projects like budget-to-actual analysis, year-end TI/CAM reconciliations, and other projects as they come up Requirements: Accounting experience (3+ years preferred), ideally in property management or real estate Comfortable working in QuickBooks and Yardi or AppFolio Solid understanding of accounting basics and internal controls Organized, detail-focused, and good at meeting deadlines Able to work independently but also communicate well with the team Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus, but not required What We Offer: Competitive hourly pay Flexible, part-time schedule Opportunity to work on a variety of projects and learn more about property accounting
