We're seeking a motivated Physical Security Manager to join Verkada's Global Security team. This role will play a key part in supporting the safeguarding of our employees, assets, and facilities worldwide while helping to maintain best-in-class security operations.

The ideal candidate will bring foundational knowledge in physical security, with enthusiasm for learning strategic program development and gaining hands-on operational experience. What You'll Do
  • Support the development and implementation of physical security policies and procedures
  • Assist in conducting security assessments and audits of facilities
  • Help coordinate security operations across multiple locations
  • Support GSOC (Global Security Operations Center) activities including monitoring, incident management, and reporting
  • Assist with 24/7 security monitoring and alarm response coordination
  • Help maintain situational awareness through security system monitoring and threat intelligence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities
  • Support incident response and investigation activities
  • Assist in vendor management and security system maintenance
  • Contribute to security awareness training and documentation
  • Learn and apply industry best practices in physical security and operations center management


What You Bring
  • 3-5+ years of experience in physical security, GSOC operations, facilities management, or related field
  • Basic understanding of security systems (access control, CCTV, alarms, monitoring platforms)
  • Experience or familiarity with security operations center environments and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in shift-based environments and respond to time-sensitive situations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the physical security field

Annual Pay Range

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)

Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
