Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a Direct Loan Processor Specialist I to join our team. In this role, you will provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service to members and internal teams throughout the consumer loan process-from application to funding. You will manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, support internal teams with complex loan inquiries, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound consumer loan-related calls.
  • Support internal teams with escalated or complex loan inquiries.
  • Analyze data, collect documentation, and prepare loan documents with accuracy.
  • Verify DMV documentation to ensure proper lien recording.
  • Collaborate across departments to complete loan processing steps.
  • Audit loan documents and reports for compliance and accuracy.
  • Identify and mitigate potential fraud or suspicious activity.
  • Conduct member interviews and financial analysis to determine loan eligibility.
  • Prepare and send loan documents for signing and disbursement.
  • Respond to emails, chats, and escalated inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
  • Participate in virtual meetings and maintain a strong presence in a digital work environment.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-volume call center or loan processing environment.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging calls.
  • Familiarity with DMV titling and lien filing (preferred).
  • Knowledge of consumer lending products such as auto and personal loans (preferred).
Preferred Experience
  • Contact center and consumer loan processing (not limited to mortgage).
  • Experience with fraud detection and identity verification.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged sitting with occasional mobility.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Normal vision and hearing (accommodations available if needed).
Work Environment
  • Collaborative team environment with internal and external communication.
  • Frequent interaction with members, dealerships, and finance companies.
