This role will be central to driving data-informed decision-making for healthcare operations, specifically focused on Medicaid programs. You will analyze complex healthcare datasets, extract actionable insights, and translate business needs into detailed requirements for system implementations. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with clients, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to design solutions that improve operational performance, streamline workflows, and enhance overall patient outcomes. Accountabilities:
· Engage with clients to understand business requirements, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
· Analyze Medicaid and healthcare datasets to identify trends, validate data quality, and summarize insights for stakeholders.
· Develop business requirements, system designs, and documentation for new solutions or enhancements to existing platforms.
· Participate in planning, requirements gathering, and clarification sessions with clients and internal teams.
· Assist with process analysis, process improvement, and implementation of operational efficiencies.
· Support QA and application support activities as needed to ensure successful client outcomes.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate new technologies, platforms, and integrations for potential adoption.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
· 5+ years of experience working with Healthcare Administration software and Medicaid datasets.
· Proficiency in SQL, Databricks, and/or Snowflake for data analysis and reporting.
· Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Experience with requirements gathering, business documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
